The RoleThe RoleTax free basic + housing + Allowances + family business class tickets + family benefits Our Client is an internationally recognized Dubai based group of companies, whose vision and pioneering concepts has changed the face of shopping, entertainment and leisure in the Middle East. The function of the RDM is to ensure that the presentation and functional quality of all stores in our client’s portfolio is of the highest possible standard and in line with the company’s directed design guidelines and precinct design guidelines. The RDM must ensure business driven retail design solutions, on-site store delivery, and minimisation of down-time in the income stream as a result of programmed openings. The RDM process is achieved through both customer focus and the ongoing relationship with retailers, their designers and their contractors, builders and or shop fitters. To this, the RDM must be multi-disciplined in Retail Design, Retail Knowledge, Construction and Construction Management. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo qualify, you will be an Architect or Interior Designer with at least 2 - 3 years experience in designing retail interiors in discipline of food and beverage, fashion and/or general retail, service retail. You will also have a Minimum 2 - 3 years experience administering management of construction works of interiors (Project Management) and/or exteriors and have the ability to chair meetings with command amongst a team of colleagues. Ideally you will have Knowledge of standard building codes, building of health codes and skin penetration building codes, a knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire codes for Retail premises, understanding of contemporary retail trends in all areas and knowledge of visual merchandising and or window displays. You must be a team player, well tempered, capable of working under pressure while maintaining a calm temper and promoting a team spirit across all parties.
