The RoleThe RoleRetail Learning and Development Consultant - Al Futtaim Training Centre The Al-Futtaim Training Centre was established 22 years ago to train and develop the Group's most valuable asset, its human resources. The Centre works in partnership with the Group's businesses and also with Group Principals, Suppliers and External Customers. The Training Centre assists its partners with their Training Needs and Customised Programmes which are developed to meet these needs accordingly.The Centre offers courses in Management, Personal Development, Sales and Marketing, Technical, Language, Communication and Information Technology. It also offers its premises to its customers for their own conferences, meetings and in-house product training sessions and many more.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Retail Learning and Development Consultant to work from the Al Futtaim Training Centre in Dubai.Reporting to the General Manager - Group Learning & Development you will be responsible for * Overseeing the design, development and delivery of training programs and workshops* Managing internal and external client expectations* Delivering the core curriculum, training calendar and customised programs as scheduled* Researching and developing recommendations for blended training delivery and resources* Identify Learning and Development needs within the group* Maintaining systems for collating and reporting on training performance* Managing projects to meet key objectives that drive the Al Futtaim Training Centre towards a Centre of Excellence* Collate, analyse and report performance metrics * Utilising tools and resources that will discover training needs or assess capability standards * Ensuring delivery metrics are adhered to* Providing Trainer delivery days and feedback data * Ensuring project KPI's are met and exceeded* Serve as a Learning and Development Trainer on key projects, cross functional teams and group rollouts |
RequirementsRequirementsTo apply for the role you should have the following skills and experiences;* A bachelors degree and/or relevant Training certificates * Previous experience in Retail industry is a must* Fluent written and spoken English* Curriculum design experience* Knowledge of Competency standards* A wide range of assessment design and delivery knowledge * Program facilitation experience* Analytical skills* A high level of computer literacy* Experience of blended learning* Business operations, project management and Customer Service experience would be a distinct advantage. |
