Job description / Role
On behalf of our client we are looking for a hard-working and flexible Retail Manager for a leading International handmade cosmetics company in Saudi Arabia. Based in Jeddah, the Retail Manager will be the main coordinator and manager of people within the country. We are looking for a quick-learner that is willing to get involved with any aspect of the business and at any level necessary to make the business successful. The Retail Manager would be developing the local team and continue to grow the team as the business continues to grow rapidly. Are you enthusiastic about the opportunity to develop a team? What is my role in this fresh and ethical company?
• Be the main coordinator and manager of people within the country
• Uphold the brand standards in all areas of the business
• Create a business structure in the country that reflects our standards in the UK in conjunction with MENA head office team (ie. Managers, Trainee Managers, Sales Associates)
• Lead the successful recruitment of managers and sales associates with MENA head office team
• Continually improve staff performance through coaching and training
• Continually improve staff attendance
• Coordinate and implement a mystery shopper program in KSA
• Continually drive sales through review, analysis, and feedback
• Coordinate and organize local project management of new shop openings in support of the MENA head office New Shops Manager, working with all relevant parties necessary on the ground along with the Operations Manager
• Aligning Marketing Calendar and social media materials directly to the shop floor
• Oversee and manage local translator
Requirements
What are we looking for?
• Hands-on attitude who is willing to get involved at every level of the business beyond company structure
• Proven results in developing people and maximising their potential
• Strong written and verbal Arabic and English communication skills
• Ability to travel regularly between Jeddah and Dubai
• Open mind and can-do attitude that reflects that no challenge is to big to be solved and overcome
• Saudi National females only
