Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Purpose:
Develop operational strategic plans and deliver results for the company's brands in the region through managing the effectiveness and efficiency of retail operations' function as well as developing and implementing processes that support and achieve the companys strategy, growth and profits' objectives.

Accountabilities:
- Achieve company's targets and maximize profits of all brands (in line with the yearly objectives of the company and principals' agreement) through generating sales and controlling stores' operating costs.
- Oversee the overall "P&L" performance management for the company's brands and deliver financial results.
- Develop existing brands and create strategy that leads to maximizing profits and strengthen the company's brands in the region.
- Assess market trends (competitions, consumers,...etc) and business developments to formulate a comparative retail strategy.
- Identify new opportunities to meet companys competitive objectives within the region.
- Develop and implement the company's expansion strategies and oversee the selection process of real estate site.
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans of all stores as well as monitoring and measuring adherence to high standards of store operations (maximizing sales and customer satisfaction)
- Manage the efficiency and effectiveness of retail operational team through strong leadership and monitor their performance on KPIs.
- Work ,closely, together with the loss prevention team and ensure effective applications of the company's policies and procedures to reduce risks, stock shrinkage and enhance operation' standards.
- Ensure efficient operation of all stores, in line with company policies and procedures, in relation to stock control, systems & security and company's & brands' image.
- Develop and implement best practices in merchandising, brand communications, store development & retail operations to achieve company's objectives.
- Direct visual merchandising to ensure alignment with the principals' brand strategy.
- Ensure and enable best shopping experience in the company' stores through excellent execution of visual merchandising and in-store marketing.
- Develop, train, motivate and enhance the skills of direct reports to realize company's objectives.
- Ensure that all retail operations' policies and procedures are up to date, according to the international standards & best practices and effectively communicated to the concerned team members.

Requirements

- BA / BSc from a reputable university - MBA is a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in fashion retail, of which 4 years must be in senior management.
- Strong skills and experience in P&L management.
- Strong knowledge in Retail operations, budgeting, strategic planning, loss prevention, merchandising, visual merchandising, and inventory control.
- Excellent skills in customer service.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of fashion Retail and lifestyle industries
- Strong product management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong Analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
- English Fluency (Written & Spoken). French is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
- IT skills (MS applications and ERP system).
