Purpose of the Position:
The prime objective of the job is to Develop Retail Channel and its sub-channels through the development and implementation of channel strategy , managing a large team of sales force developing their skills and delivering channel key performance indicators ie. Coverage, penetration, Merchandising and volume achieving categories and brands plans at each POB.
•Manpower recruitment, coaching, control, development, evaluation and productivity.
•Channel/s strategy creation and implementation.
•Brand plans, in terms of Volume targets and forecasting, Distribution and penetration targets, POB and visibility targets and its execution.
•Coverage, trade structure and routing.
•Promotion and activation execution and evaluation
•IT and sales automation system development and operation.( maintenance and accuracy )
•Coaching, motivation and development of salesmen. supervisors and Area sales managers
•Channel P&L and cost efficiency.
•Rewarding schemes managing and developing.
Level of expertise that can manage ALL retail channel elements, Office works, planning. Cross-functionally.40% and 60% in filed.
•Provisions within total sales budget (recruitments -POB Solutions, activations).
•Has retail ASM’s reporting directly to him.
-BA or equivalent - min 5 years in similar job. preferably in Multinational FMCG (Unilever, Del Monte, Mother Dairy, or/ and Mother Care).
-Field sales management skills

-Commercial skills and numeracy skills.
-Very good leadership skills.
