The Role


The Role


Purpose of the job:

To closely monitor, manage and develop organized retail business and expand Best of Bread practice from UAE and GCC countries in order to ensure better channel management and consequently improve sell-out and business development

Key Objectives:

The successful applicant is responsible for supervising channel sales and marketing activities in UAE and other GCC countries for maintaining & developing Partner Relationship (Retailers) across GCC with clear objective of achieving the company targets in quantity & revenue

Position Responsibilities:

* Setup and keep updating a plan for channel marketing activities with SGE AV team / business partners and follow-up execution (retail shop management)
* Close monitoring of retail marketing activities and training programs
* Directly supervise, lead and support field marketing teams in SGE market
* Make periodic market surveys to get feedback from dealers and end-users and propose ideas accordingly to enhance continuously the channel management and operations
* Implementation and monitoring of channel tools, such as Preferred Partner program
* Ensure best in industry shop display through the collaboration and communication between retail staff, merchandisers, third party agencies and distributors.
* Analyze retail data, develop insights and report to management with actionable recommendations.
* Implement, check and maintain Samsung retail standards & goals.
* Build relationships with retail partners both at shop floor level and with store management.
* Actively monitor & report retail market intelligence and make recommendations to management.
* Liaise with suppliers for new store display implementation.
* Manage Shelf Share, Golden Location and other In store performance Indices.
* Secure promotional space and co-ordinate special displays around promotional activities & events.
* Proactively seek opportunities to secure key retail promotional space such as gondolas ends, window display and other “golden locations”
* Where possible ensure Samsung products are displayed together creating a stronger brand statement.
* Ensure correct functioning of all display/ signage lighting.
* Support production and implementation of all non retail public & trade marketing events such as road shows, dealer launches, product launches etc.
* Support floor salesperson training initiatives.
* Support Negotiations for new store display area/ space.

* Should have a basic understanding of the technical working of AV & Photographic products.
* Should have industry leading product knowledge skills.
* Multi-tasking skills essential to cope during busy and stressful periods.
* Good PC/ Excel skills.
* Good ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications
• Experience, Education and Licensure

* At least 7 years of extensive experience in retail management and or/ sales and marketing in consumer electronics industry.
* Graduate degree essential
* Ability to work in a team and to manage a team
* Ability to perform and work under different conditions and in a multicultural team.
* Strong communication & people management skills
* Self starter being able to work under minimum supervision
