Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose of the job:

To assist the Retail Team in managing sales of DI and Galaxy Tablets within the retail space by taking key account ownership and devise appropriate sales plans. Initial Geographical location will be UAE but will be responsible for GCC by end of 2012.

Key Objective:

* Responsible for selling ITSG products to Retail channels such as Power

Key Objectives:

Retailers/Electronics Stores and Hypermarkets acting as the key function in completing the entire sales process right from sell-through to sell-out
* Representation of Samsung IT to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 channels in all sales oriented activities including marketing, advertising, sales, promotions, trainings etc
* Establishment of a professional working relationship with retailers and distributors and develop a core understanding of business processes and needs

Position Responsibilities:

* Collaborate closely with retail partners to develop sales strategies and business plans for the optimal positioning of Samsung within the stores
* Work closely with distribution partners in formulating sales plans for partners, defining targets and ensuring strong follow ups on achievement of those targets
* Negotiation on event/promotion contribution with solid ROI on marketing investments
* Identify new opportunities and contribute to outperform quarterly expectations
* Act and a Team Leader providing direction to Merchandisers and Promoters on monthly plans giving visibility on planned offers, maintenance of adequate stock level at the stores and ensuring proper display of products as per SGE guidelines
* Plan sales and product trainings for Promoters and Retailer Sales Staff
* Maintain and publish sales daily/monthly sales data to the senior management

Qualifications
• Experience, Education and Licensure

*At least 2-4 years of experience in CE/IT Retial industry
*Ability to perform and work under different conditions and a team player
*Good networking with the UAE Retail industry
*Extensive sales thinking and pro-active / consultative sales approach
*Strong accounts management skills
*Self starter being able to work under minimum supervision
