Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose

Ensure smooth execution of distribution operations for the given region as per agreed KPI’s within the given resources by planning, and implementing the company’s strategies.

Major Accountabilities
1. Monitor Target achievement by distributor daily, weekly & monthly in view of following agreed KPIs;
a. Coverage
b. Productivity
c. SKU per Call
d. Value per call
2. Ensure coverage through distributors’ DSRs from the identified related universe. Maintain coverage / productivity of outlets as per agreed policy.
3. Ensure distributors refrain from discounting from their commission and prevent cut rates in the market place.
4. Ensure DSRs follow visit schedules / permanent journey plans (PJPs). Carry out joint visits with the distributor’s team to monitor their performance and to coach and counsel on KPI deficiencies.
5. Ensure that distributors carry the agreed level of stocks of all SKUs. Further, ensure sufficient stock is available to support planned promotional activities.
6. Ensure FIFO is followed both at trade and distributors to prevent stocks getting outdated & damaged.
7. Ensure availability of complete product range at distributor’s pharmacies universe.
8. Monitor distributors’ stocks return ratio and align it with agreed ratio.
9. Plan and execute the agreed ratio between retail and wholesale.

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above.

Experience
At least 2-3 years of proven practical experience in sales & distribution
management.

• Strong ability to collaborate and keep partners informed
• Strong influencing ability, and team leading skills
