Job description / Role
Category Manager required by a leading convenience chain here in Dubai.
You will act as a pivotal role of the store management team and provide the following expertise:
* Design and develop a modern profitable, food & beverage solution by defining a successful strategy in terms of pricing, positioning, promotions and products.
* Achieve budgets sales and gross/profit margins
* Initiate a the roll out of new concepts (i.e. bakery, specialists stands) etc.
* Develop product ranges, layouts and offerings based on target areas and customers
* Develop a successful marketing plan
* Manage and train and motivate the sales team
Requirements
*Graduate from a reputed university
* Minimum 10 years of industry experience related to marketing & sales, with a minimum of 5 years of this related to Coffee, Fresh Food, Food Service industry
* Working knowledge of HACCP
* Excellent Financial, data mining & presentation skills
* Sound understanding of Consumer promotions, Brand Management
* Excellent communication skills (written & spoken)
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent interpersonal & analytical skills
* Proficient in MS Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
* Sound knowledge of our network would be a plus
