Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Fantastic opportunities available in retail for a leading international sports brand who are opening exciting new concept stores across the UAE. They are currently looking for individuals who are fluent in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with store sales by achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Co-leading operations efficiently of the store by managing his/her team of sales associates and supervisors
- Accountable for increasing sales, units per transaction, transactions size and high levels of profitability in the store through adequate training, staffing, scheduling practices and customer service
- Build enthusiasm within the store to create a positive work environment and improve associate morale
- Ensure company dress code is adhered to for the store
- Take ownership of the store and allocates resources as well as organise process to drive profitability in a variety of situations and market conditions
- Create a high performance culture in the store by setting clear expectations and targets
- Analysing team performance, holding team members accountable and giving appropriate feedback including actively managing poor performance
- Extensive brand and product knowledge transferred to the sales skills in relevant categories
- Watch, listen, interact and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues
- Build enthusiasm within the store to create a positive work environment and to improve associate morale
- Ask open ended questions about the customers' requirements in order to determine their needs
- Watch, listen, interact and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues
- Assisting Store Manager in reporting store profit and understanding loss & prevention
- Managing store whilst Store Manager is away
- Build enthusiasm within the store to create a positive work environment and to improve associate morale
- Ensure Company dress code policy is adhered to for the store

Requirements

- Fluent in Mandarin AND English
- All candidates MUST be working in their current company for at least 2 years
- Good understanding of profit and loss prevention, meeting store KPI's and making commercial decisions
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal/communication skills
- Strong problem solving ability and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Flexible availability - including weekends and public holidays
