Job description / Role
Provide data-driven insights on how to best understand churn and customer lifetime increases; deliver campaigns that help increase average customer lifetime with the company and reduce the global churn rate;Data mining
* Assist other retention stakeholders (e.g., Customer Care) in extracting data for mining modules and ensure high quality of analyses' output
* Identify and address data quality issues in the systems by involving the necessary stakeholders
Data analysis
* Analyze, identify and assess data attributes using statistical software package
* Package and share output of analyses with internal stakeholders and obtain 'buy-in' for recommendations
* Be proactive in defining retention KPIs and proposing levers for improved performance
Design and deliver campaigns
* Design campaigns based on customer-insights that allow to reduce churn and/or increase customer lifetime
* Ensure insight of KSA and international retention initiatives and leverage this to design campaigns
* Coordinate and execute campaign delivery in a reliable, effective, and efficient fashion
Align stakeholders
* Involve other internal retention stakeholders in the retention process (e.g., Customer Care)
* Drive retention priorities across teams based on data insights and revenue/margin potential
Requirements
Industry/Domain
* Ideally 3 years of experience in a retention function in a marketing department within telecommunications industry
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience in working with analytical data mining modules - experience with Oracle solutions is a plus
* Solid knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., logistic regressions, multi-factor analyses) and dedicated statistical software (e.g., SPSS)
* Excellent knowledge of retention techniques and industry best practice
* Good knowledge of the current telecom industry trends
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Fluent in English - fluency in Arabic is a plus
Education and Certification Requirements
* Bachelor's in Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Economics (esp. Econometrics), Science, or Mathematics
* Master's degree (e.g. MBA) is a plus
