Job description / Role
Miller Hay are currently recruiting for a Credit Control & Billing Coordinator for our client an International Law Firm based in Dubai. They need someone with high attention to detail and strong follow up.
Role:
- Will be responsible for managing office revenue in coordination with the affiliated office in London.
- Ensuring compliance with the office credit policy.
- Maintaining the office database of debtors and aged invoices. Advising management and the London office of progress with regard to collections.
- Liaising with clients regarding outstanding payments primarily by telephone with follow up written communications as required.
- Distribute WIP and AR reports to Partners.
- Monthly meetings with Partners re outstanding AR.
- Prepare KPI and cash collection target reports for Management in Dubai and London.
- Print requested billing guides and issue to relevant fee earners.
- Issue invoice numbers on monthly basis.
- Amend entries on the system prior to issuing invoices i.e time entries, transfers, deletions.
- Offer advice and guidance to fee earners and secretaries re billing and collection procedures.
- Handling of petty cash.
- Allocation of cash collections.
- Ad hoc duties and special projects necessary to fulfill the role above.
Requirements
- Must have 3-years experience in doing this exact role in a legal firm.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
- Must be adaptable and hardworking.
- Ability to navigate quickly through databases.
