Job description / Role

- Candidate will be involved in creation and editing of Revit models in compliance with WSPs Middle East BIM / CAD Standards and detailing practices.
- Candidate will be involved in report findings of coordination checking to project team for rectification of building services coordination by BIM team.
- Candidate will set up received Architectural model links and review against previous Architectural models. Highlight any areas that will impact coordination of building services.
- Candidate will be responsible for basic BIM designs tasks as directed by the BIM Manager.
- Candidate will liaise with the BIM Manager on BIM Standard review and improvements.
- Candidate will review and monitor the production of models / drawings to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Candidate will support the development of the technical capabilities of the BIM team.
- Candidate will be involved in completion of tasks received from Engineers/Architects/BIM Manager.
- Candidate will be involved in generating sections/schedules/schematics from models.
- Candidate will be involved in complete modelling process for Architecture/Structure and MEP in Revit and have good capability as mentioned below.

- Candidate will perform complete clash analysis process in Navisworks.
- Candidate will be well versed with 4D and 5D sequencing.
- Candidate will be aware of Cobbie application.
- Candidate will attend meeting for internal coordination with site/tender team members and cascade information to the team as required for the successful completion of the project.
- Candidate will generate 2D drawings from Revit Model to be forwarded to the draftsman for annotation.
- Candidate will have to read and coordinate Architectural/ Structural /MEP drawings.
- Candidate will do coordination between all trades.
- Candidate will prepare presentation models to be forwarded to 3D team during tender process.
- Candidate will find solutions to Revit problems/bugs and rectify.
- Candidate will ensure models/drawings are issued, and filled in an appropriate manner.
- Candidate will be responsible for setting up of a project, including drawing registers.
- Candidate will be involved in conversion of Revit models to other formats such as CAD, DWF & PDF.
- Candidate will use web based software to manage the upload and downloading of documents, submittals and drawings.
- Candidate will coordinate and support the Complementary Resource Centres (CRCs) of the BIM team.
- Candidate will provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to the BIM manager.
- Candidate will ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with HBK company policies.
- Candidate will develop expertise and stay abreast of developments in relevant technical field.
- Candidate will support the companies approach to sustainability.
- Candidate will complete accurate Time sheets by set deadline.
- Candidate will identify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP service to clients

Requirements

- Bachelor of architecture and specialize in Revit Modelling.
- Degree in structural engineering and specialize in Revit Modelling.
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and specialize in Revit Modelling.
- Diploma in architectural assistant-ship with qualification in Revit architecture modelling.
