Job description / Role
Job purpose:
- Supervise rigging/lifting activities on a client's production platform
- Control and maintain all rigging /lifting equipment.
- Provide on the job training to develop employees under his supervision skill and competency
Key duties include:
- Ensure safe lifting and rigging operations through active leadership, coaching, auditing, and continuous improvement.
- Provide hands on supervision for all rigging /lifting operations that include complicated and complex for maintenance and drilling activities on an oil and gas production platform.
- Create and implement computerized lifting plans, method statements and procedures for maintenance/Drilling and Modifications.
- Coach and develop competent and skilled employees under his supervision/
- Develop and implement complex lifting plans.
- Inspect, audit, and correct existing lifting plans.
Requirements
Experience:
- 10 Years minimum experience rigging lifting.
- 5 Years minimum offshore experience.
- 3 Years minimum experience as a Rigging and Lifting Supervisor preferably on a Production Platform.
Demonstrated experience preparing the following:
- Computerized lifting plans.
- Method statements.
- Rigging and lifting procedures.
- Read and interpret crane load charts and engineering drawings.
Certifications / Qualifications
- British or Equivalent Demonstrated Experience: NVQ level 3 (Minimum) ECITB, OPITO, NETA Base location and working regime.
28/28 days rotation is anticipated for this job. We offer 1 year employment contract.
