Job description / Role
This leading international contractor require a Risk Coordinator / Analyst to provide professional risk management support to EPC construction projects in the Middle East.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing training in all aspects of the risk management process
- Support projects in all aspects of the implementation of risk management
- Prepare, evaluate and analyze qualitative risk data
- Prepare quantitative risk assessments (schedule and cost)
- Prepare departmental and project deliverables as required
- Lead effective meetings
- Conduct research as necessary to support implementation and analysis Improve knowledge and technical expertise in risk management
- An understanding of key business functions e.g. Engineering / Procurement / construction and subsequent activities till project handover in addition to understanding of corporate governance
- Facilitation and training
- Fundamental understanding of contractual principles and their application
Requirements
- BSc Engineering
- Should hold one of the recognized Risk Management Certificates like PMI-RMP, CIRM
- Good working knowledge of risk management tools e.g. Predict, Primavera Risk Analysis, (at)risk
- Able to recognise all forms of risk common to business / projects and potential trends
- Fluent in English
