As part of our Middle East business strategy, we are currently looking for an experienced Risk Analyst (Major Highways/Expressways Projects) to join our already establish team in Qatar.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting in ensuring that risks associated with the delivery of project programme are identified assessed and responses to risks are implemented. We are therefore currently seeking a capable and experienced Risk Analyst to provide support within our Project Assurance team.

Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in the establishment and delivery of an effective risk management framework, implementation thereof and progress reporting by adopting standards and best practice.
- Responsible for the risk register content quality, accuracy, changes and version control.
- Carry out quantitative risk analysis.
- Conduct qualitative analysis to evaluate risk by using statistical software i.e. (at)Risk & MS excel.
- Assist stakeholders to assess strategic risks.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, Ministerial departments, and working groups.
- Advise on risk management and produce risk management progress reports i.e. Dashboards.
- Assist in setting out the risk management team priorities.
- Assist in providing risk management training and guidance to clients, internal & external (if required).
- Assist the risk and cost team with other related tasks (as needed).

Requirements

- Degree in relevant subject (i.e. Risk, Construction or Engineering) or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years direct risk management experience.
- Knowledge in development of regional/country wide risk strategies.
- Experience of working within large scale or complex projects.
- Knowledge or working within a construction environment (contractor, consultancy or equivalent domain).
- Knowledge of construction related risks.
- Bachelor's degree in construction, Quantity Surveying (QS) or a related field from an accredited internationally recognized institution or university.
- Minimum of 5 years risk management experience.
- Membership of IRM desirable.
- Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to relate and interact successfully with a multi-cultural workforce at all levels is essential.
