Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To work with the Business Units to establish Risk strategies, identify, assess and monitor risks in a structured manner.
- To drive the Risk Management Practices across the Group covering Financial, Strategic, Operational and Compliance risks.
- Act as a first point of contact on risk related queries and as an advisor to promote risk awareness culture within company through risk awareness programs and workshops.
- Prepare and update the Risk Registers which identify and assess the key risks facing the respective Business Units
- Assist in the implementation of the risk assessment tools for all key projects to ensure that all key risks are identified and adequate mitigation actions are in place.
- Perform test of controls to ensure sufficiency in mitigating the risks encountered at the Business Unit Levels.
- To collaboratively work with other team members at the Business Unit Level to facilitate preparation of the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan. Additionally, perform reviews and ensuring timely updation of the plan in line with the current business practices.
- Assist in implementing the Fraud Risk Management Framework across the Business Unit Levels. This includes identification and implementation of the fraud risk controls.
- Independently validate the identified and implemented key controls including fraud risk controls to ensure the effectiveness of the process and controls identified.
- Assist / arrange training sessions to the respective owners on the ERM.
- Assist the Group Risk & Cost Controller to run the yearly ERM workshop in order to re-evaluate the risk and performance.
- Assist the Group Risk & Cost Controller in ensuring the ERM status report is presented on a regular and timely basis to the Risk Management Committee and the Board and all the charter requirements are adhered to.

Governance
- To ensure that all corporate policies and procedures are updated on a regular basis.
- To assist the management to ensure that best practices are being followed and implemented in our Governance framework.
- To undertake any additional responsibilities/ special assignments as assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

- A undergraduate degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business and Economics is mandatory;
- Master's in Business Administration specialization in Finance/ Risk Management and/or International Business; and/ or
- Finalist / Qualified Accountant
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management and/or Fraud Risk Assessment
- Prior experience in Big Four
- Exposure to FMCG/Manufacturing industry

Functional Knowledge:
- Relevant experience in finance and risk management with exposure specific to Internal audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Fraud & Anti-Corruption Reviews;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting/ auditing principles and practices; and
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
