Risk Manager

Job description / Role

- Acting as Basel II Project Manager for the entire bank and ensure Bank’s Basle II preparedness;

- Representing the Bank on Central Bank Basle II committee.

- Managing the implementation and the maintenance of “State of the art” Risk Architecture with emphasis on collateral management, risk rating, profitability, exposure and limit monitoring, 360 customer view and hierarchy management.

- Spearhead the management of the Bank asset portfolio through applying the risk techniques in order to drive up the Bank’s Return on Risk Adjusted Capital (RORAC) and Economic value added (EVA).

- Manage the design, the development and the validation of Risk models (Rating, Scoring…)

Requirements

Work Experience :
10- 12 years experience in credit and risk management

Education level:
An MBA or BA in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics

Technical Skills:
SAS, SPSS, statistical software, Monte Carlo Simulation, Linear and non-linear programming, Correlation, regressions, forecasting models, cluster analysis, covariance analysis, modeling.

Key Attributes:

o Ability to represent the bank on industry events: participation in Risk Professional Conferences

o Analytical, research oriented and quantitative person

o Ability to think outside the box and visualize adverse risk scenarios

o Ability to maintain a robust credit culture and portfolio quality through effective risk assessment techniques and strong controls

o Familiarity and stay abreast with new concepts and competitive trends in risk management as well as with the Central Bank’s guidelines
