Risk Officer

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx Middle East is currently seeking a Risk Officer to join their team.

Our client is a newly established hedge fund based in the DIFC who have a solid growth plan this year.

In this role, you will join a small but growing team and be the sole person in charge of all the risk activities. This role will report to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for managing risk inside the business.

Seeing as our client is fairly new to the market, this is an exciting and unique role to get in at the start and really make an impact. This is a chance to use your existing skills to create an impression. There is immense growth opportunity here based on performance, the sky really is the limit.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold the following skills:
Min. 4 to 7 years experience of relevant experience, particularly risk within a trading environment.
Understanding of asset management, hedge funds and financial markets.
Fluent in English, any other language would be of an advantage.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation.
