Job description / Role
This job opportunity is for a senior Risk and Safety Manager who is looking to join a global industrial organisation. Based in the head office, this person will be responsible for managing the control of high consequence risks in the high risk potential areas of the business. You will also be responsible for designing and managing change initiatives within the organisation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading business unit specific micro risk profile
- Facilitating on macro risk profile
- Developing corrective plans
- Monitoring and report back on risk reduction activities
- Coaching the team to ensure they are able to improve and sustain performance throughout current and future projects.
Requirements
- NEBOSH qualification in safety as a minimum
- 15 years safety management experience in heavy industrial environment
- 10 years experience leading a team of safety practitioners
- 5 years experience coaching teams to achieve results
- 10 years international experience
