Risk and Compliance Officer

Job description / Role

The role of Risk and Compliance Officer is a key position within the organisation and requires an experienced professional to perform the following duties:

- This role reports to the board of directors
- Ensure policies, procedures and processes are in line with the regulatory requirements
- Review policies, procedures and processes and recommend required changes, if any, to align them with DFSA requirements
- Ensure products and services are within the regulatory framework
- Ensure management and staff members are kept abreast of compliance requirements
- Hold formal and informal meetings with staff members and management to provide timely update on compliance issues
- Communicate and liaise with the DFSA with regards to compliance issues

Requirements

Applicants for this role must satisfy the following:

- MUST currently be located in the UAE. Applicants currently outside the UAE will NOT be contacted.
Must have 5-8 years experience in Compliance in the DIFC
- DIFC and Central bank experience in mandatory
- Hedge Fund experience preferred
- Must have in depth knowledge and be a sharp operator
- MUST speak fluent English
