Rolling Stock Technician

COMPANY PROFILE:

Our client is a leading international Rolling Stock manufacturing and maintenance group.

They have secured several long-term and high-profile contracts in Saudi Arabia for the maintenance of Rolling Stock in relation to the creation of new railway lines.

They are just now building-up their team who will have the chance to join them at the very early stages of the project.

We have several positions in different areas of Rolling Stock (please see the different areas below).

JOB PURPOSE:

To perform multi-tasking rolling stock preventive and corrective maintenance work in any of the following areas:

1. ELECTROMECHANICAL TYPE OF WORKS: The electromechanical works can involve various types of train sub-systems such as Brake system, traction, TCMS (Train Control and Monitoring System), bogie, Auxiliaries, Doors, Air systems (compressors, main reservoirs), Communication systems, current collection, etc. Strong knowledge in any sub- system of the train mentioned above is required. Diploma in Mechanichal / Electrical / Electro-mechanical required and 4/6 years experience in min of one or two train sub- systems maintenance.

2. HVAC TYPE OF WORKS: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning related corrective and preventive maintenance work. A strong understanding of electronic controlled HVAC system is required. Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical required and 4/6 years experience in electronically controlled HVAC systems maintenance.

3. DIESEL ENGINES WORKS: Maintaining all the diesel engine in good operational condition at all time. 12 Valve or bigger engines are added value. Experience with MTU Engines will be added advantage. Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile required and 4/6 years experience in diesel engine maintenance.

4. HEAVY REPAIR WORKS (BOGIES): strong experience in bogies maintenance. Diploma in Mechanical required and 4/6 years experience in bogies maintenance.

• Fast learner and able to understand the train functionality
• Able to read schematic and drawings
• Able to work on shift rotation
• Able to speak English
• Experience in Rolling Stock maintenance
