Job description / Role
CONTRACTOR personnel shall perform variety of skilled works in field or workshop, apply different techniques as per procedures, and operate equipment used for carrying out machine overhauls in full compliance with Companies rules and regulations relating to health, safe and environment matters.
Duties
- Receiving verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to standards and discuss drawing details with Company supervisor.
- Clarifying work requirements with Company supervisor and obtain all required work permits from Company supervisor before commencing the assigned work.
- Ensuring that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions.
- Maintaining safety requirements in accordance with Companys regulations and safety standards
- Collecting materials and spare parts required for the assigned work from the warehouse.
- Checking work quality and taking corrective action to remedy any detects/faults in accordance with the work examination methods and standards.
- Performing other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to Company policy
Requirements
- 3 year technical diploma.
- 5 years experience in the maintenance field.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and drawings.
- Ability to use all related tools in his field.
- Ability to communicate (speak and write) in English language.
- Ability to carry out jobs independently.
- Should be intelligent and creative.
