SAP Developer

Job description / Role

Recruiting a SAP Developer role for a leading Duty free retail company, based out of Zurich. Main responsibilities of this position would be;

•Coordinate development activities over multiple SAP modules and surrounding systems
•Responsibility of the ABAP development delivery cycle;
- Validate functional specifications
- Develop and document of clear, concise technical specifications
- ABAP coding
- Unit and integration testing
- Monitoring and maintenance
•Manage change requests, coordinate development plans, identify and resolve root causes of defect developments
•Improve and optimize processes and methodology; support projects coordination
•Anticipate future requirements and needs

Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of development experience in SAP
•Strong ABAP skills in core Modules (MM, SD, FICO, WM, BW)
•Multiple developments in cross application modules: IDOC/ALE, BADI, BAPI, ABAP OO, SMARTFORMS, SAPSCRIPTS, LSMW, BW extraction
•Experience in SAP solution architecture required
•SAP NetWeaver and SOA based architecture an asset
•Knowledge of HTMLB, Web Application Design / Web Dynpro and Web Services design an asset
•Experience in SAP Retail industry solution would be a plus
•High standards: accuracy, takes initiatives, multi-tasking, meets deadlines
•Flexible, agile and adaptive to change. Able to work under pressure, resilient, excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
•Willing to learn and develop (new systems, tasks, responsibilities) and stay updated of new technologies
•Team player, willing to work and integrate an international environment, feel at ease in a Matrix organization
•Fluent in English, additional languages are an asset
