Job description / Role
Parsons Brinckerhoff is currently working on a major EHV substations project in Qatar. The scope includes switchgear of 220kV, 132kV & 66kV associated cabling including external EHV cable diversion works, power transformers, 11kV air insulated switchgear and protection and substation automation
system.
Due to this we are currently looking to recruit a number of SCADA Engineers who have experience in the inspection or design of SCADA systems associated with HV substations.
Responsibilities not limited to:
- Review comment & approve all project related Documents like O&M manuals ,method of statements ,I/O mapping ,signal list, interlock logics, incident reports, variation requests related to SCADA systems and Condition Monitoring Systems in substation.
- Testing of Remote Access (RAP) and Post Mortem Report file(FTP protocol) from control centers.
Requirements
- Experience in the inspection or design of SCADA systems associated with HV substations.
- Substation, design and site experience
- Work experience in National and distribution control centers for conducting End to end testing of new substations.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
