Job description / Role
1. Install the irrigation RTU to meet the design criteria.
2. Manage the irrigation system to respond to the changes in water requirement
3. Maintain the irrigation system for optimum performance.
4. operate and maintain Trimble GPS / GIS Pathfinder Pro XR system to obtain GPS data, build GIS database, and generate autocad Map. GIS mapping system is a plus.
5. Conduct field inspection to verify compliance with MID system project specifications and drawings.
6. Communicate orally with project managers, Agricultural Engineers supervisors, co-workers
7. Prepares and monitors, controls, updates maintenance work plans, schedules and budgets to include acquisition of new equipment and facilities.
8. Examine all cable lengths, pin-outs, connectors and power connections immediately after encountering a problem. Check the communication rate settings and error detection selection to verify they match for all devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electric / Major specialty in Electronics and Communication experience in the field is a plus.
- Must have a certificate in irrigation control unit especially in Motorola ICC.
