The RoleThe Role Dynamic Work Environment Global provider of safety and security solutions Location: Darmstadt, Germany Our client, one of the fastest growing providers of public safety and security solutions globally, is looking to expand their team of professionals within their research and development centre in Germany. With long term career prospects providing stability and career development, our employer is seeking to appoint a SCRUM Product Owner to their Research and Development team, who will support the growth and development of their projects globally. Our client provides end to end solutions to its customers including project management and software intensive solutions as well as solutions for companies and public institutions. Reporting to the Product Development Director, your responsibilities in this role will include: Define the product vision and manage the product roadmap; successfully socialize and align these with customers, executive leadership, developers and other relevant product owners Thorough understanding of customer, users and internal stakeholder requirements and market trends Translate requirements into end-to-end scenarios with detailed functional requirements as a key input to the software design process Decide what will be built and in which order, define features of the product or desired outcomes of the project by actively managing the product backlog, planning the releases and ensuring coherent software increments leading successful product shipments Define and manage rich stakeholder engagement programs, both internal and external Ensure product profitability (ROI) Prioritizes features/outcomes according to market value Adjusts features/outcomes and priority as needed Accept or reject work results Facilitate scrum planning ceremony |
RequirementsRequirements Degree qualified in Computer Science or related field, with Masters degree being highly regarded Excellent knowledge of Agile development and Lean production for software product development Strong problem solving skills with the ability to refine complex issues into clear concepts Outstanding presentation and moderation skills, Excellent communication skills, across multiple disciplines at all organizational levels, including executive leadership International experience within a matrix organization in multicultural environments is highly regarded Fluent English, spoken and written.
