Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objective: HR

Main Responsibilities:
• Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
• Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Assist in creating and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Administers compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
• Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
• Negotiate and communicate with third parties and contractors (Medical Insurance, Transport Services, and Recruitment Agencies).
• Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
• Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints and allegations.
• Facilitates and/or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce.
• Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
• Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job related requirements.
• Conducts recruitment effort for all personnel and temporary employees; monitors career path program, writes and places advertisements.
• Represents management in investigating, answering, and settling grievances, by arranging and scheduling grievance hearings between personnel, supervisor and the Management team.
• Develops and maintains affirmative action program; maintains other records, reports, and logs to
• Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
• Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
• Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
• Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
• Maintains compliance with UAE Labor Laws concerning employment.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

University qualifications : A bachelor's degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of Human Resources experience, OR
Other certifications : Human Resources (PHR/SPHR/CIPD) certification preferred
Previous experience : 5-7years
