Job description / Role
• Reviewing the current website available
• Developing an optimisation plan
• Making changes necessary to the site and implementing the plan
• Interact with copywriter and web developer to optimize copy and landing pages for Search Engine Marketing
• Provide ad-hoc support for the Search Engine Marketing
• Reporting on success and activity of the website
• Liaising with management team
• Demonstrate a good track in developing a relevant and credible SEO work
• Stay up to date on the latest industry developments
• On page SEO:
- Research of keywords
- Implementation of various system/methods to optimize exposure
- Optimization of keyword density
- Links and URL validations
- Image optimization
- Site map submissions
- Validation of all SEO tags
• Off page SEO
- Search engine submission
- Keyword optimization
- Monthly reporting on web analytics
- Articles submission
- Inner links submission
- Posting on forums
- Social Media updates
- Manual directory submissions
- Undergo competitors analysis for competitors
Requirements
• Minimum 1 years previous online marketing experience
• Experience and a track record in search engine optimisation, social media digital marketing
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP/.NET
• Basic coding is essential
• Educated within a Western University Environment
• Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.
• Be dedicated, hardworking, and confident.
• Have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be willing to learn and progress.
• Be self-motivated, money-driven, and target-oriented.
