Provide full design, costing and technical support to the SHS sales team, ensuring best practice design standards are maintained, supported by efficient, effective and economical project solutions.

* Prepare detailed design layouts in AutoCAD in response to information and specifications provided by the concerned sales person.
* Ensure proposed designs comply and align with Principal manufacturer's specification and design parameters
* Ensure Principal design programs and practices are up to date by close coordination with central design team
* Prepare detailed costing for each project with respect to materials, transportation, duty, installation and local fabrication


* Accompany sales on client visits and provide technical support to ensure customer needs are interpreted accurately into detailed design solutions.
* Provide value engineering to both potential and secured projects to maximize project profitability.
* Gather, share and analyse market information on competitor activities and incorporate into design solutions.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor Degree with Engineering background or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Technical interpretation of client requirements.
Computing skills with essential AUTOCAD and MS Office or related software.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at various within government and private sectors. Work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to simultaneously manage several projects.

Minimum Experience:
Successful candidates generally have 3-5 years of Autocad design experience associated with capital sales/industrial/ machinery.

Job-Specific Skills:
Excellent communication, planning and organisation. Strong analytical skills, customer relationship skills including the ability to present. Problem solving and team building skills.
Position requires a valid driving license. Must be PC/MS Office literate.
English language is essential, spoken Arabic an advantage.
