Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Develop the Kuwaiti market and drive revenue to help achieve a significant increase in the client base
Develop the “mid-cap” segment in line with the banks strategy
Develop relationship with key client decision makers and owners and achieve “meeting of minds” between the bank and our clients
Prepare a marketing plan on a quarterly basis identifying target clients for the bank to pursue and follow-up with ongoing calls
Explore and maximize cross-sell opportunities for all products across the bank
Maximise the share of wallet
Enhance the depositor base and market liability products
Work closely with other banks in Kuwait as and when required in order to issue bonds for contractor clients
Position our bank as the client’s adviser of choice
Structure facilities to be offered to clients based on the client’s requirements
Ensure that internal RAROC and other criteria are continually met
Obtain information to prepare credit applications, including financial spreads, for timely submission for approval
Network in the market and look to identify early warning signals that effect the business or credit quality of all the banks clients
Ensure that all compliance are adhered to strictly
Preparation / submission of periodic MIS reports, call reports and other business requirements
Such other work as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Relationship Management (Unit Head)

Requirements

At least 15 years in corporate banking positions (across the globe)
Has at least 10 years experience with banks in Kuwait with significant relationships at senior level with clients
Exemplary credit writing skills
Holder of University Degree, preferably in banking or finance, or MBA from a top-tier university
Excellent communication skills in English, preferably also Arabic is an advantage in language skills
Result driven, hands on, dynamic with ability to work under sales oriented environment
Should have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and should be a good negotiator
