The RoleThe RoleOur client is one of Saudi Arabia's largest construction and engineering groups, with extensive operations in construction, civil engineering, petrochemical and facilities management sectors. Employing more than 10,000 people across multiple locations in Saudi Arabia, our client have an enviable list of major projects they have been involved in across the country. They are now involved in a number of major facilities management contracts across Saudi Arabia, such as a large educational facility / University in Jeddah, which is scheduled to last for 5 years. Their contracts typically mean they are responsible for all maintenance across two sites in Jeddah, which includes high mechanical and electrical content areas. Works are typically carried out in live locations and hence safety is critical. Therefore they are looking for an experienced safety manager with safety qualifications to join their team on the contract. The safety manager will handle all health & safety matters across the sites, ensuring that adherence to safety processes by all staff is adhered to. |
RequirementsRequirementsDue to terms of our client's contract with their client, the following criteria are ESSENTIAL: Candidates MUST have Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIET) qualifications Ideally a Technical / Engineering Degree from a reputable University. Experience on managing health & safety in a live location, with a client organisation or facilities management organisation In addition, due to the types of work visas our client has available currently in Saudi, they can currently only accept applications from British, American, Canadian, Irish or French nationalities. Our client are paid to prepare a full expat salary package which would consist of a monthly salary of approximately SR20k per month (equivalent to approximately GB£41,000 net per annum - fully free of tax, so in UK equivalent terms, salary is GB£60,000 gross) plus a car allowance, accommodation / accommodation allowance, flights, medical and gratuity. This position is open to single or family status, however our client are not able to contribute to school fees. |
