Job description / Role
One of Qatar's leading client side organisations are looking for a Safety Engineer to work on multiple infrastructure projects including roads and highways. You will get the opportunity to work with some of the industries leading professionals in an exciting and progressive company. The benefits on offer for this role are outstanding and you will be working on some real city changing projects within the Middle East.
As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, review, revision, inspection and auditing of the Projects' HSE plan and programs. You will be instrumental in building a strong HSE culture with contractors and consultants. You will develop, implement and monitor HSE management systems on site, conducting audits regularly to ensure that the correct safety standard is being maintained. You will also investigate and provide reports on any accidents and near misses, devising solutions to ensure that they are not repeated.
Requirements
* Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* 10 Years post graduate experience in HSE roles
* Extensive experience with roads and infrastructure projects
* The ability to move to Qatar or;
* If you are based in Qatar, the ability to obtain an NOC
