Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking for a highly disciplined and experienced engineer to fill the position of Safety Engineer to work on our major infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Audit compliance with HSE project and local regulations and procedures
* Promote site awareness
* Inspect fixed and mobile plants/equipment
* Investigate construction incidents and accidents
* Participate in development of safety programs
* Conduct safety inspections
* Prepare reports on safety performance and coordinate with the Contractors health and safety team
* Implement the Hyder site manual appendix two requirements and internal Hyder safety HSE promotion campaigns

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering
* Certificate from international recognized safety bodies e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA
* Must have more than 7 years' experience in construction site safety management. Experienced in water projects preferred.
* Proficient in Arab/English Language
