The Role


The Role

As a Safety Manager you will be responsible to continuously improve the high level of safety in the working environment and network sites of Nawras. You will develop, implement and coordinate safety processes and procedures. You will ensure a good maintenance of the Nawras buildings and sites in terms of accessibility and maintenance to meet all regulatory requirements in terms Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Works.

Your responsibilities will also include the following:

• Ensuring all Nawras buildings/stores/sites maintenance which comes within planned budget both at start up and in subsequent maintenance projects.
• Visiting all Nawras buildings/stores/sites, in order to check and maintain a high level of safety in terms of work environment, access, and all HSE issues.
• Identifying, writing and maintaining all procedures in terms of HSE and making sure all HSE required are met as per local/international standards
• Identifying, writing and maintaining all procedures in terms of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical and all Nawras buildings Maintenance procedures.
• Visit all sites in order to verify the third parties activities and prevent additional costs
• Evaluat and present new possibilities/projects in terms of costs reduction
• Update and inform allΒ employees on any safety hazard related to the human health

Requirements


Requirements

• You must hold a University Degree in HSE/Engineering Major or similar
• You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• You have 6-10 years of experience in dealing with the site maintenance and site owners preferably in a telecom/technology environment.
• You are HSE certified/qualified.
• You are fluent in English & Arabic (written & spoken)
• You have excellent People Management skills and you have good project management skills.
