The Role

Are you an experienced Safety Manager with a proven track record of excellence, seeking the opportunity with a reputable consultancy company in Saudi Arabia?

Main Tasks:

To ensure that all safety policies and practices are adhered to. To plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures to minimize accidents and injuries.

Further duties include

Formulation company's Safety manual and Procedures and implementation of the same monitoring the effectiveness of the company's HSE policy.

Reviewing contractors Safety Plan and procedures.

Formulating programs for the development of HSE practices on site.

Giving advice and support on matters concerning HSE.

Plan, direct and supervise HSE functions and activities, advising officers and staff in his division of applicable HSE legislations.

Coordinate with the management, ensuring HSE requirements are understood at all levels.

Conducting and coordination HSE management/coordination meeting.

Represent HSE department at all management meetings either internally or externally.

Promoting Best Practice through benchmarking and communicate the result to management for assessment and possible implementation.

Conduct incident investigation, sturdy the root causes and promote safety awareness and accident prevention measures to secure a safe working environment.

Reviewing method statement and its corresponding risk assessment.

Conducting audit on subcontractors Safety management system.

Monitor subcontractors performance and has the authority to stop any unsafe work or practices.

Informing immediately the higher management regarding any serious incident.

Conducting training programs to improve the site safety performance.

Requirements

Requirements:

Ideally possess a relevant Degree qualification.

Proven track record as a Health & Safety Manager working on construction projects in Middle East/North Africa.

Possess relevant professional qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO14001.

Have a minimum of 10 years working experience.
