Job description / Role
- Lead, administer and support in the effective implementation of the EHS Management System at the project, complying with all EHS legislation, regulatory and others legal requirements as well as Company ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management System
- Lead, administer and support in the effective implementation of the Environmental Impact and OSH Risk Management system
- Lead and administer EHS in house training, EHS promotion and communication for the project
- Assist and support in EHS meeting and coordination meeting
- Lead in incident investigation, analysis and follow up corrective and preventive action
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or above
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the process industry as an EHS Officer and completed at least 1 EPC project from initiation to closure in Oman of at least 1 year duration.
- Possess all necessary OSH and Environmental Control certification, registration and license to work in Oman as an EHS Officer
- Contract will be two years or upon completion of project, whichever earlier
