The RoleThe Role-Advise on potential hazards at work site -Leads development of the PSP -Supports Resident Engineer in implementing the PSP -Reviews PSP -Ensures project is in compliance with corporate H & S requirements -Reviews safety requirements in Method Statements (Risk Assessment) -Checks the calibration and operation of all safety equipment -Checks site security, fire, first aid and welfare facilities and procedures -Checks safety standards and applicable regulations as required -Carry out and record regular site safety inspections -Assists and participates in site safety training -Investigates and/or reports all accidents and dangerous occurrences -Reviews and develops Permit to Work procedures -Sets a high personal example of Health and Safety at all times |
RequirementsRequirementsCandidate must have: -At least 10 years of experience in the same fields (Pipeline Construction, Pump Stations & Treatment Plans). -Bachelor/College degree in Engineering -Relevant Degree/Diploma in Safety -Approval from relevant authorities |
