Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Tyrezone is the wholesale divisionof Al Futtaim Comprehensive Vehicle Auto Services whichdeals with B2B sales in the tire, battery and accessories segment.
In the UAE, Tyrezone is currently operating sales offices in six locations with large central warehouses in Dubai Industrial City. In the UAE, Tyrezone distributes Toyo, Jinyu, Maxxis, BF Goodrich & Chao yang brand of tyres and Panasonic, GS and Asahi battery range.
Tyrezone is expandinga similar operation to Saudi Arabia in partnership with new brands.The main purpose of this role is to support the operations (Sales and After sales) - by (a) ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures with major emphasis on - cash control, sales accounting documentation, stock controls, day to day internal controls review and process improvements in Showrooms and Service Centres.

The main responsibilities of this role is as follows:
Cash Controls
Review of daily collection and deposit of cash and cheques by branches and scrutinise GL control accounts for exceptions.
Sales Accounting and control

Ensure through Test Checks and Branch Visits
1. All documentation is complete as per company procedures for all Finance / Cash / Credit / Inter and Intra company deals.

2. VCC and Sales letters released / issued as per company procedure.

3. Validation of Sales document pack /LPO and credit approval or clear funds/ registration copy and authorise final release of the vehicle for customer delivery.

4. Refunds are processed within the sub-delegated authority /documentation and facilitate refund process with AFSS for beyond authority levels.

5. Review and recommend actions to reduce cancellations and rebilling.

6. Co-ordinate with Division and IT to ensure all promotional schemes are timely defined in system to report correct costs and accurate information on the documents to customers.

7. Check and validate all agreed check list before confirming passport release of branch staff as applicable.

8. Maturing and clearing of PDC.

9. Processing of monthly rebates to customer.

10. Checking of vendor payment before releasing payment.

11. Providing support in yearly stock audit and yearly closing of books.

To provide the necessary information and apply the required day-to-day accounting controls to ensure proper monitoring of Sales Collection Control account and the General Ledger for all recovery account.

Provide meaningful analysis and data that would trigger appropriate action.
Communicate with various employees /Branch Manager/ third-parties to ensure that all issues related to sale control and the Recovery General Ledger are resolved in a timely and proactive manner.

Implementation of business process and testing of system development and integration.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Minimum Experience:

- 3 years similar experience, with a good knowledge of ERP systems.

Job-Specific Skills:

- Good accounting knowledge, Analytical, process oriented, well organised, with excellent communication skills, a team player. Should possess a good knowledge of excel and have prior experience in working with large databases.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact well.

- Degree in Accounting.
