The RoleThe Role• To provide administrative support on quotations for the Cooper Middle East Mains Lighting team and assist the Sales function in achieving regional targets. • To maintain high standards of customer service for all customers • Current budgeted turnover is in the range of US$ 10 Million. Duties will include: • Working closely with regional sales teams in order to understand customer enquiries • Making timely quotations through SAP & FLASH software • Smooth order management with UK and US customer service departments. • Accurate record keeping and sales office administration Communications: • Reporting to the Middle East Sales Manager • Working alongside sales team / design team • Liaising with customer service teams in the Middle East, UK and US. • Dealing with customers in 22 countries |
RequirementsRequirements• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a related subject (Science or Electrical Engineering preferred). • Able to demonstrate knowledge of Lighting or Electrical products. • Thoroughly computer literate in Microsoft Office, with hands-on SAP experience for quotation management, delivery follow-up etc. • At least 3 years experience with a large sales organization, preferably within the lighting sector. Interpersonal skills: o Focused and analytical, with a keen eye for detail o A skilled communicator with a track record of excellence in customer service. o Strong organisation skills: able to manage priorities in order to meet a number of competing deadlines. o Proactive: a self-starter who is able to suggest and implement process improvements o A team player who is able to build effective working relationships with multicultural Cooper staff & clientele. |
