Job description / Role
An Italian maternity brand which will soon launch in the UAE is currently hiring a team of retail professionals for their new stores across the UAE. The brand has 400 retail outlets worldwide and will now launch in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience discussing sensitive and confidential topics. It is important that you have had exposure to children/babies in the past and have a basic understanding of nursing a child.
The role requires Sales Associates who are switched on and interested in learning- as you will be required to give detailed, personal advice about the products.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance
- Direct customers by escorting them to the products; suggesting items
- Advise customers by providing information on products
- Help the customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions
- Document sale by creating or updating customer profile records
- Process payments by totalling purchases
- Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
- Experience working within retail (ideally in the GCC/UAE)
- Mature outlook/ have offered personal or sensitive retail advice
- Ideally nursed a child in the past
- Strong understanding of customer service
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
