A SALES ASSOCIATE is someone who works as an individual and as a team member, fully follows operating procedures, and provides customers with complete service and an enjoyable shopping experience to maximise sales, ensuring that the department is presented to company standards, and that stock loss risks are absolutely minimised. Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service. Assist customers with special services including: gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries and furniture orders Efficiently and accurately perform register transactions i.e sales, returns and exchanges. Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge including features and benifits. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions. Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity. Comply with all Company policies and procedures. |
RequirementsRequirements Retail experience or a service oriented background preferable. General good level of education - literate and numerate. Must be able to communicate in English. Arabic is an advantage. Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for positive, upbeat communication and a desire to sell. Motivated and energetic. Willing to work in a multi national environment. Flexible, and able to work under pressure. Minimum 1 year experience is desirable |
