Sales Associate

Job description / Role

As support of Account Manager, ensures the call answering in coordination with Customer Service Team. Transfers, if required, to the Account Manager might call identified contacts from prospect lists to collect customer needs and follow sales opportunity.

- Prepares standard proposals/offers if exist, according to pricing policy and quality procedure. Assists Account Manager with development of complex customer proposals and quotations. Ensures the follow-up of the proposal by calling customer contacts in coordination with the Account Manager
- Updates customer information system or transfers to Sales Administration team, according internal rule.
- Provides reports on sales activity. Might participate to customer claims management. Might coordinate the accumulation of competitive information. Might prepare Account Manager customer visits (visit planning, preparation of customer folder).

Requirements

- Minimum High School Degree.
- Knowledge of sales and pricing policy.
- Knowledge of AL Offers, products and services.
- Know-how on commercial arguments with customers.
- Know-how on IT tools used (extract reporting).
- Successful direct or indirect sales experience
- Proven ability to negotiate and close profitable business deals
- Energetically pursues profitable business development opportunities
- Ability to lead and federate internal resources towards the sales / project goal
- Ability to develop long term trustful relationship with end customers
