Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- The role of a Sales/Sr. Associates is to initiate and drive sales and service FIRST AND FOREMOST through;
- Serving all customers in the boutiques as if you know them personally,
- Tapping into your knowledge of the brand and expertise to build solid and lasting customer relations,
- Maintain the brand image and a superior level of professional appearance and grooming,
- Acting as a brand ambassador to your brand by speaking a language that represents the professional image of your brand whether it is a luxury brand or a lifestyle brand or a personal grooming brand etc.

- Achievement of sales targets: Displaying you very best effort to achieve the set budgets despite market trends/ conditions. Understanding what the impact of “no sales” has on your boutique/store and actively taking initiative and coming up with ideas to achieve sales. NOT accepting defeat at any cost.
- Traffic to sales closing ratio: Taking on the challenge to improve sell through & Average Basket achievement as agreed with your direct Manager. Not accepting results below what has been agreed with you and making a noticeable effort to achieve these objectives despite obstacles in your way.
- Customer Service: Implement the UFC customer service standards and strategy and guidelines at all times with every customer and guest. Treating all customers as if they are guests in your personal home. Understanding the emotions attached to buying and the power you have to influence decision making and drive multiple sales. (The measure of your dedication and efforts in customer service will be monitored through regular Mystery shopping. Your personal score should not be below 75%)
- Brand ethos (Identity): Ensuring that YOU personally make EVERY effort to equip yourself with information related to the brand which you represent. Ensuring you follow all the brand standards as laid down by the brand. Understanding the importance that YOU are a brand ambassador and should ACT and LOOK and TALK the role that is expected of a brand ambassador.
- Visual Standards: Maintain high standards in VM and Brand Guidelines as laid down by the brand. Following these guidelines to the “T” and assisting any representative sent by the brand to assist with merchandising your boutique seasonally. Understanding the rule in retail that states “Retail IS detail” and implementing this in every part and aspect of your daily tasks and boutique/store standards.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum High school graduate.

Experience:
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in high end luxury fashion sales.
• Suitable Microsoft applications skills.
• Very Good English language skills.
• Very good selling skills.
