Charterhouse is working with a multinational medical devices organisation with head offices and a manufacturing facility in Europe and a market leading product range. Trading in the Middle East for over forty years and a physical presence in the area for the last two, our client is expanding their team and looking to hire a Sales Consultant.

This new role will involve the promotion of their products in the Gulf region and report directly to the Middle East General Manager. You will work closely with the distribution partners by educating and training them on new and existing products and also accompany them field visits to answer more technical questions and assist in selling the benefits.

You will also be accountable for building up close relationships with new end users including Doctors, Nurses, biomedical professionals, decision makers in MOH and other governmental institutions to open up direct sales channels. In addition, you will conduct product demonstrations and presentations. Due to the nature of this regional role with clients throughout the GCC, this position will involve weekly and frequent travel.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be educated to Degree level ideally in a related field such as biomedical science coupled with a minimum of 3 years post graduation experience. You should have a strong background of sales in medical equipment or similar products along with a high level of technical understanding. It is essential you are prepared to travel extensively within the Gulf region and Iran on a weekly basis. Our client has expressed a preference for an Arabic speaker with strong English speaking skills but will consider applications from non-Arabic speaking candidates with solid regional, industry and technical expertise. This position offers an excellent training opportunity and the chance to progress.
