Sales Director - Construction Chemicals

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialty and construction chemicals. With manufacturing facilities across the Middle East and a strong reputation in the local markets, our client now requires an experienced Sales Director for the Dubai office.

Based in Dubai and reporting to the Vice President, your key responsibility will be to lead the sales function in order to increase revenue and profit of the construction chemicals division across the region. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Managing, developing and guiding the sales team.
- Preparing and executing detailed sales strategies.
- Determining annual revenue plans and preparing budgets and sales forecasts.
- Conducting market analysis to identify potential opportunities.
- Meeting and interacting with customers across the region.
- Preparing and presenting sales and performance reports.

Requirements

- Educated to degree level, MBA would be an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years experience within the sales of construction chemicals / paints / coatings / adhesives.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to travel across the region.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate and direct a sales team.
