Sales Director - Furniture

Job description / Role

The Sales Director will target retail and project acquisition across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Sales Director will be directly involved in planning of goals and targets for all showrooms, monitoring and execution of management strategies at the ground level. The scale of operations under direct responsibility would be about SAR 125 mn.

Responsibilities:

* Sales Director will lead and proactively support his team to grow by establishing, managing, and facilitating commercial excellence through strategies and operational initiatives that include, but are not limited to, customer relationship management, account management, business development, deal execution, pricing, order fulfillment & management via market & competitive analysis.
* Manage the brand expectations of customers and the alignment of product and sales experience in different showrooms to the company positioning.
* Sales Director will be responsible for the achievement of targets by the individual showrooms and the complete operations.
* Responsible for new customer acquisition, managing walk ins and lead conversion.
* Monitor market trends to anticipate competitor activities and will also devise strategies in a timely manner to maintain the companys strong market position.
* Keep their self updated about the latest innovations and technologies in the furniture industry to educate customers and oversee product development in collaboration with other departments.
* Lead deal structuring, pricing and all other proposal development activities.
* Responsible for managing customer satisfaction across the sales process and growing sales by referral.
* Responsible for ensuring the profitability levels of different brands and showrooms.
* Responsible for building up and managing the B2B team.
* Responsible for generating and managing leads for projects.
* Coordinate the finalization and conversion of leads to orders.
* Monitor and facilitate the overall end to end execution of the project to customer satisfaction.
* Manage the profitability of the different projects.

Requirements

Education:

* Bachelors degree required.
* Master of Business Administration preferred.

Experience:

* Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in a leadership position with P&L responsibility.
* Past experience in high-end customized lifestyle products (preferably Modular Wardrobe or Kitchen industry).
* Past experience in Middle East is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to develop plans & strategies, presentations and proposals.
* Prior experience in business development and/or building growth plans is necessary.
* Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.
* Strong execution skills with ability to meet and exceed targets.
* Strong oral and communication skills.
* Fluency in Arabic and English.
