Job description / Role
An opportunity with a leading provider of Market Intelligence across the globe and a very strong presence in the MENA region.
Reporting to the Managing Director based in the U.K., this role will be responsible to drive sales across the Middle East & North Africa region overseeing a team of about 20 with 2 direct reports. Overall responsibility for commercial performance and achievement of annual sales target via effective sales and marketing strategy, structure, activity and process. Play an integral part in the business accelerated growth strategy (including 3-year plans) as a member of executive decision making groups as required. Contribute intelligence gathered in the marketplace to develop & deliver sales and marketing plans, sales structures and focused execution in order to deliver sustained double digit revenue growth. Implement/execute an integrated marketing, sales and account management best practice and techniques aimed at enabling the business to build and grow dominant market positions in the targeted customer sectors, outperforming competition. Develop, coach and lead an effective sales team whose skills and experience conform to the present and future demands of the business. Provide strong inspirational leadership & best practice across the commercial functions.
Requirements
8-10 Years of experience in a B2B Sales role within the Business Services industry at a senior level having led a team of 10+
Extensive experience of online B2B information services
Senior level commercial leadership: encompassing new sales & retention, commercial strategy and marketing
Experience of effective sales performance management
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
It would advantageous to have someone with experience working on a CRM system and advance excel skills
