Sales Director

Job description / Role

Our client is a multinational manufacturer of building materials. With a strong reputation for supplying high quality materials and a global network of offices, they now require a Sales Director for their Dubai operation.

Based in Dubai and reporting to the General Manager, the key responsibility will be to drive sales within the business unit. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing sales strategies to ensure the business units objectives are met.
- Lead, manage and direct the sales staff.
- Setting sales targets and developing the team.
- Working alongside the Marketing Director to develop the marketing strategies.
- Oversee, plan and develop export markets.

Requirements

- Educated to Degree level MBA is preferred.
- 10-12 years experience in Sales including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position.
- Strong background in setting and achieving sales strategies.
- Well developed commercial understanding.
- Track record of leading a sales team.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate on all levels.
- Well developed leadership skills.
