Sales Director GCC - (Plastics/Packaging)
Our client is one of the key players in the plastics/packaging material manufacturing industry
Reporting to the Vice President - Sales & Marketing for the Middle East, this role will be responsible to steer the activities and strategy of the sales team to build and grow relations with potential customers. Customer base would include FMCG's in both food & non-food categories, while also including the Retail Channel for plastic/packaging products. Prioritize countries and regions of focus and conduct initial feasibility studies before entering regions. With Regional Heads, set long term client portfolio (incl. targets). Liaise with key clients by conducting customer satisfaction interviews. Support BD by attending meetings with large potential customers. Coordinate with VP, Production to ensure global customers are appropriately served. Review, provide feedback, and approve negotiation terms for large
global accounts. Ensure coordination between field sales and marketing and attend key promotional events
Requirements
Minimum 10 years experience in a senior role in plastics conversion with a strong network within the plastics / packaging industry
Strong leadership and management skills, with exposure to managing multiple large customer accounts (across multiple geographies) simultaneously
Masters degree in Business Administration preferred
Fluency in English, Arabic a plus
